Dr. Nermina Mehić

Nermina Mehić is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka where she teaches courses in the field of social psychology. In her research, she mostly investigates the similarity of romantic couples in personality traits, with specific focus on the Dark triad traits. This includes testing the potential underlying mechanisms, as well as similarity outcomes such as relationship behaviour (e.g., mate retention behaviours) and relationship satisfaction. She is currently an associate on the project The Effects of Personality, Emotions and Social Processes in Interpersonal Contexts (University of Rijeka grant, principal investigator: prof. Igor Kardum, PhD).
