Matia Torbarina

Matia Torbarina is an assistant at the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka. He is also a doctoral student at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. The focus of his research, as well as the topic of his dissertation, is the effect of the human face on consumer attention. As part of his teaching, he is involved in courses on marketing, primarily in courses such as Digital Marketing, Market Research, and Experimental Research Methods in Marketing.

In addition to teaching, he participated as a collaborator in the Erasmus project "SLIHE", and is currently the principal investigator of the Erasmus + project WE-COLLAB, whjich closely related to his area of interest, neamelu student involvement in new forms of online teaching through neuro-methods of monitoring inclusion. As part of this project, he collaborates with scientists from different European universities.

Additional research interests include experimental research design, ethics of scientific research, and new forms of research through online programmes.
